There is no Fun In Functional link party today because I’m still at SNAP, and I just couldn’t give your awesome posts the attention they deserve. But, I have something just as good (or better) for you today! Today’s post is brought to you by Laura Beth from A Step In The Journey, and her blog is awesome, so check it out!

Hello friend!! I am SUPER excited to be here today at Practically Functional and I can’t wait to share a little bit of my world at A Step in the Journey with you! But, first I must remember my southern manners & thank the EXTRAORDINARY Jessi for having me. It’s truly an honor to be here!
I’m Laura Beth from A Step in the Journey, but my friends call me LB. It’s great to meet you! My little space in the blogosphere is a “jack of all trades, (but master of none)” kind of blog. I wanted to give you a taste of what you might find if you head over my way! Here are a few of my most favorite posts that detail my adventures in crafting, cooking, and life!
Oh the Places We’ll Go
This project was for our first anniversary (almost 2 year ago)! It turned out to be one of my most popular projects, and so I now sell them in my Etsy shop!
I also LOVE to create a good printable…here are two of my favorites:
Prayer Printable
Christmas Printable
Anyone like furniture restoration?? I consider that in the crafting realm.
Dresser turned Buffet (with a DIY Butcher Block Top)
and what about a
bathroom renovation
My adventures as a newlywed (less than 3 years counts, right?), includes lots of time trying new recipes in the kitchen. A few specialties…
Sometimes we try to be healthy! Check out these corn grilling tips:
However, I must admit sweets are always our weakness!
Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sandwiches
and after several tries I finally mastered the art of cake pops!
Although most of my posts are tutorials of sorts, I also blog about life, some of which currently includes Auburn football and my sweet sweet husband, III.
And our life would not be complete without the marvelous tales of our sweet dog Max!
I would LOVE it if you would stop by sometime!!
It’s quite an entertaining journey!
Thanks again Jessi for inviting me over!
