Welcome to The Fun In Functional, the weekly link party hosted on Practically Functional!
If you’re new here, I throw this party once a week on Wednesdays. It’s a place for you to see some awesome projects and find some inspiration. And if you’re a blogger, you can link up any projects you’ve been working on for the past week and show off your creativity!
Please support the blogging community by clicking through to these projects if you find something that interests you. Your visits are important to the bloggers who share their work here! If you link up to the party this week, comment on a few other blogs as well. There’s no downside to networking with other bloggers and finding new ideas!
Last week’s most popular project was this Thrift Store Shelf shared on Sew-licious Home Decor:
And here are a few of my favorite projects from last week. Check them out!
|Oreo-Stuffed Cupcakes – The Happier Homemaker
There aren’t even words to describe this! I need like five of these right now!
|Lamp Shade Makeover – It’s Overflowing
What a fun project! Sprucing up a lamp shade is a brilliant (but not over the top) way to bring a pop of color to a room!
|Build A Better Sandbox – Family Home And Life
If you have a yard, kids, and an itch for an awesome DIY project, you have to check out this sandbox tutorial! The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and it turned out great!
|Reverse-Stenciled Bird Coffee Table – The DIY Village
A reverse stencil is a great idea, and the bird on this coffee table is perfect! Seriously, go visit the post to see the closeup photo, it’s stunning!
|The Giving Tree – Wine & Glue
I just LOVE this idea! The fun paper she used makes this project awesome, plus she traced her kid’s actual hand for the hand shape!
|DIY Vintage Comic Book Wall Art – NGNRDGRL
This wall art is awesome, and it’s DIY so you can make any comic book cover you want! My husband would totally love this!
|Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches – A Step In The Journey
Yum!!! I can’t believe these are homemade, but they look easy enough, and totally delicious!
|Paper Mache Tea Light – Nifty Thrifty Things
What a fun, simple idea! You can make these tea lights in any color, but I’m loving the gold paint interior to help it shine!
|DIY Paper Tulips – Scissors And Spoons
This is the perfect project to welcome in Spring! These little flowers are so cute, and easy to put together!
|Key Lime Fudge – Southern Blue Celebrations
This looks absolutely amazing! I really love key lime anything, so this sounds perfect!
Congrats everyone! If you were featured, feel free to grab a Featured button from the footer!
On to this week’s party!
Just a few guidelines to keep it fun, friendly, and fair:
- Please, no Etsy shops, giveaways, link parties, etc. And no posts you have linked up before, we want to see your new stuff!
- Help spread the news by grabbing a link party button from the footer!
- Comment on at least 2 other posts. We all love new visitors, comments, and link party love!
- HAVE FUN!
I will be featuring a few of my favorite projects each week, so by linking up you are giving me permission to do so. I will also be pinning my favorite projects and features to my Pinterest boards, so be sure to follow along there to see all the crafty goodness.
Link up any crafts, tutorials, tips and tricks, ideas, recipes, DIY projects (any project really!) you have worked on recently that you want to share!
