Guys! Tomorrow is my 6 month blogiversary! I’ve been blogging for 6 months!
I didn’t prepare a speech or anything, and I’m not throwing a party. In fact, it’s a Tuesday, so I’ll be at work all day, just like every other Tuesday.
But I would like to thank you guys for being such awesome readers! I love reading the comments you leave and seeing the projects you link up each week at The Fun In Functional. You guys are the best!
Just in case you haven’t been with me for the whole 6 months (cuz let’s be real, besides my parents and JM I doubt anybody has!) here is a quick round up of some of my favorite posts and projects since I started.
How I Always Have Enough Butter: This was my first “real” post on this blog, and it’s still one of my favorites. I learned this awesome shopping list system from my mom and it has worked wonders!
10 Important Financial Lessons To Learn While You’re Young: Seriously, the title says it all. My life totally changed after I graduated from college (read: I was suddenly a real adult with a real adult job!) And these financial lessons have helped me make that transition and be prepared for the rest of my life.
The entire Herb Garden Series: This year I planted an indoor herb garden from seeds and it’s been an amazing experience! I learned all about starting plants from seed, thinning seedlings, transplanting them, watering them, pruning them, and harvesting them. I’ve learned a ton and it’s been great fun!
Clean Your Microwave In 5 Minutes and Homemade Grout Cleaner: These two posts are incredibly popular. I think there’s something about super simple, super effective cleaning tips that make everyone happy 🙂
Customize Your Shoes With Mod Podge: I never knew about Mod Podge before starting this blog, and I realize now I was totally missing out!
DIY Flavored Vodka: I love vodka. And now I know how to make my own flavored vodka!
Upcycle A Pallet Into A Bath Shelf: My first ever pallet project! I made a bath shelf, and it is totally awesome!
These have been some of my favorite posts so far…what about yours?
So here’s to (at least) another 6 months as great as the last 6! Thanks again for being such awesome readers; I love having you guys hanging out here with me!
I link up at these awesome parties!
