This post was brought to you CJ Affiliate and Pier 1 Imports; as always, all content and opinions are 100% my own.
I finally got our mantel decorated for Halloween and I can’t wait to show it to you guys! I have a couple of cute DIY Halloween decorations that I planned to use again this year, but I wanted a bit more to really fill out the entire mantel. So I stopped in at my local Pier 1 Imports and grabbed a bunch of cute Halloween decor, and bonus: it was all 20% off! Check out my fun and festive Halloween mantel!
I started by clearing off the entire mantel. The mantel tends to collect “stuff” that doesn’t have any other home, so it’s nice to have an excuse to declutter! The modem and router live on the mantel because that’s where the cable comes into the house, so I always have to do a little bit of planning to make sure my mantel decor hides the cords and boxes without interfering.
It took about half an hour to get everything set up the way I wanted it, but I’m just thrilled with how the mantel turned out! I even turned the little electric fireplace on, and it matches the decor perfectly!
I used a cute little sign to hide the modem in the center of the mantel, and on either side of the mantel, in front of the mirrors, I put these jewel candelabras with ivory taper candles in them. How spooky are those?!
I reused the cute dryer vent pumpkins I made a few years ago, along with the faux mercury glass pumpkins I made this year. I also included a glittery cat and glittery pumpkin man for some tall elements, along with a few extra candles I had laying around.
I’m really happy with how the mantel turned out; it’s totally fun and festive!
