Peppermint Brownies & Peanut Butter Rice Krispies Treats!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Glad & M&M’S® for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every time I visit my parents, my mom and I spend a lot of time cooking and baking, and it’s great! (Although actually, now that Mom knows that JM likes to cook, she has him help her in the kitchen, and Dad and I do woodworking projects!) And our most recent visit was no exception! My mom wanted to bake a few holiday treats to give out as gifts to friends and neighbors this year, and I knew the perfect recipes to make: Peppermint brownies and peanut butter Rice Krispies treats!

These black and white peppermint brownies are the perfect neighbor gift! So easy to make, and delicious!

Target has Glad Holiday Storage tupperware right now, and on the back of each package are recipes for delicious holiday treats you can make with holiday M&Ms®! The tupperware has little Christmas trees and holiday themed graphics on it, and it’s so cute! Target also has tons of holiday baking mini M&Ms® and white chocolate peppermint M&M’S®, which are what I used for the black and white brownies. The holiday Glad tupperware and white chocolate peppermint M&M’S® are only available at Target, so don’t miss out; they’re perfect for neighbor gifts!

Bake for about 30 minutes. You may need to go a little longer; just use the toothpick test to make sure the brownies are fully cooked! Then pull them out of the oven and let the brownies cool.

Next, melt the white chocolate chips (1 minute on high in the microwave) and drizzle them over the top of the brownies. While the drizzle is still liquid, decorate with sprinkles and the white chocolate peppermint M&M’S®.

MMmmmmmm those both look yummy! I’ve never thought to put M&M’s in my rice crispy treats. I’m going to have to do that next time I make them.
