This post is brought to you by Hoover. As always, all opinions are 100% my own!
Now that we have a newborn in the house, I feel like I get nothing done! Between feeding her, changing her, and just cuddling with her when she sleeps, I’m always surprised when I look at the clock to discover the whole day has flown by! Needless to say, I don’t have time for the household chores that I used to do. But when Hoover offered to send me their Air™ Cordless Lift Upright Vacuum, I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel; “Maybe I can do chores while holding the baby!” I thought. And I was right!
With two cats and a dog in the house, there’s a lot of pet hair floating around. So I’m super excited to have this Hoover cordless vacuum to help keep it in check!
I love that the vacuum runs on battery power; it means that I don’t have to unwind a cord, find an outlet, and plug it in. And I don’t have to be careful about the wire wrapping around the furniture or tripping me up! The LithiumLife batteries are interchangeable and work with all of the products in the Hoover cordless line (3 vacuums and a hard floor wet cleaner), and they have twice the capacity of standard 18V lithium ion batteries, so they run longer without losing power. But the absolute best part about the batteries is that the vacuum comes with two of them! You can leave one on the charger while you use the other one in your vacuum, and when one dies, you will always have another fully charged and ready to go!
And of course, our baby loves the sound of the vacuum; the white noise is super calming to her. It’s great that I can put her in the ring sling, turn on the vacuum, and she goes right to sleep! Plus this vacuum is really lightweight and easy to maneuver, even with just one hand. So I can get the house clean even while taking care of the baby!
The other thing I love about the Hoover Air™ Cordless Lift Upright is that the canister is removable and serves as a lightweight handheld vacuum! It’s absolutely PERFECT for cleaning the stairs safely. I hated lugging our heavy, corded vacuum up and down the stairs, and it always tried to tip over when I set it down on a step. Super dangerous! But with this vacuum I can just remove the canister with the click of a button, set up the hose attachment with a few more clicks, and I’m ready to vacuum the stairs with a small but powerful handheld vacuum!
It really is the perfect vacuum to help me keep the house at least slightly tidy while taking care of this baby!
